TPD Zone Workshop

A very successful and exciting TPD Zone Workshop was held on Monday 9th May 2022 at Southwell racecourse.

The Workshop was hosted in conjunction with Betfair and with Peter Webb (founder of Bet Angel) delivering an enlightening presentation regarding Bet Angel and TPD live data.

The event was run to the following agenda;

• Introduction from the TPD CEO, Will Duff Gordon.
• A fascinating insight into the logistics of collecting GPS data from the horses on the racetrack, to presenting the data on the user’s screen.
• Peter Webb’s thoughts re the integration of GPS data into his Bet Angel platform.
• A presentation from Nigel, the TPD Lead Developer and creator of Bet Mover.
• A Q. & A. session.
• Closing messages from Will Duff Gordon.
• Dinner.
• Live trading from a PC in the room.
• An enjoyable evening’s racing.

From the feedback which we have received it was a very useful experience for the attendees and particularly meeting TPD representatives in person – a sentiment which is reciprocated by TPD.

There will be a further Workshop later in the year and please look out for details as places will undoubtedly fill up fast.
